I am an excuse.
That is all that I am.
I work every time.
No need to change my plan.
I can make someone squirm
As they try to prove me wrong.
Some do not give up easy
But I work to beat who is strong.
As long as I live
You know I will have work.
I am used by the bastards
Even sweethearts and jerks.
So you might hate that I exist,
But YOU are the reason I do.
I believe it was only yesterday
That you asked that I help you.
Continue to avoid responsibility
As I lie still and wait….
The fact that you used an excuse
Was simply your mistake!

I am an educated adult female with Bachelor and Master degrees in Business Management. I am married with four children. I enjoy writing and drawing for a hobby and brain vacations. My dream is to publish a novel someday, but I am building on my short story and poetry crafts now.
