OKAY WORLD – YOU HAVE GOT TO CALM YOUR BUTT DOWN!

Look – I get that there is anger in the world. I get there are problems. I get that people have different opinions. I get it. Move on! Seriously – Move on!

Politics are out of control. I have spent months un-following all news media and miscellaneous items on my social accounts, and I have un-followed many people because they won’t give it a rest. Facebook and Medium have pushed me over the edge with this crap. Today – cherry – on top of cake!

So, on Facebook, I posted it was time to un-follow people because of their posts and liking political garbage. I explained enough was enough. I don’t care who like, I don’t care who you don’t like, I don’t care who you blame, and I don’t care about your political thoughts. I don’t. See – two years of BS is enough for me. Other people can’t move on. I am sorry for you. But don’t jam this crap down the throats of people who want to move on to happier topics. Really – there is more to talk about in this life.

Anyway, after the Facebook post, my father-in-law kept sending me political garbage in Messenger. Why? So, after several times of him sending me stuff, I sent the following message to him:
HI DAD. I WON’T READ ANY OF THIS POLITICAL STUFF. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IT OUT OF MY READING AND WATCHING. IT BRINGS MORE MISERY THAN INFORMATION IN MY OPINION SO I WOULD RATHER NOT GET THIS STUFF PLEASE.
Reasonable, right? I thought I was nice about it. Well, I guess not. Because today I found out that not only did my father-in-law un-friend me, but he also blocked me on Facebook. Seriously?? Seriously??

Look, if you are so involved in the political garbage that is consuming the media, it is time to look at what really matters in YOUR life. Control your life. Control your thoughts. Grow up!

On Medium, trying to clean up the “for you” feed – it’s impossible. In fact – the more I click “show fewer stories like this” – the more I get. Like I am being punished or something for saying NO. I don’t get it. I don’t want to get it. I just want IT to leave me the hell alone.

I want poems. I want creative stories. If I want politics – I will go to CNN, MSNBC or FOX.
