The wrath
Thin and draped
Cancer of the mind
Orchestrated by the heart-
Forsaken love and understanding.
Mistakes could find forgiveness
Despite convoluted affairs
Now suffering
Drenched like a veil
Not for hiding or deceiving
But a reminder of once upon a time.
No devil here
As red was already taken
To warn elegance
Before losing to labor day.
Eyes closed to the moment
While lowered within the sand-
To confirm forever-
As though it were yesterday.
The earth washes the ashes
And uncovers a story…
Time has not forgotten-
As Karma has her day.
Now to rise-
While asleep
In the story he has written…
And the blasphemy thinking-
He could rob me of the final chapter-
Without price-
Silencing the villain in my story.
