Pandora

Pandora

Come to life Pandora
As I’ve come to set you free…
Erase all the mystery-
Open for us to see.

All giving in Greek mythology
As only a woman could bare…
Whether in a jar or box-
Ills will greet your stare.

Forbidden fruit or a can of worms-
Are myths believed today…
Or are they true and fact?
With lessons taught each day.

A source of trouble-
Or gem of answers…
A shiny box?
Or just morbid cancers?

The lid we must open-
Even to puzzled layers…
No myth or God left…
To grant a reversal prayer.
