Morning

So tired my eyes

And empty my brain

From the sleepless nights I sleep.

So frustrated I feel

As the dread sits in

From Monday’s alarm beep.

So here I go

And up I get

To pay the bill’s need.

So comes the day

And ripe the hour

Of confidence to heed.

So goodbye the bed

And down the coffee

To the day I go.

So fill my brain

And learn the new

To sleep tonight I hope.
