We Knew

We know so much

And so little too…

Until we learn

What we thought we knew.

And then we scramble

Like generations before

And learn again

What we chose to ignore.

Sure some lessons

But great moments added

And a little more even

Once all is subtracted.

Yes we knew it all

And I guess we still do

Until tomorrow

And heartache less new.

I am an educated adult female with Bachelor and Master degrees in Business Management. I am married with four children. I enjoy writing and drawing for a hobby and brain vacations. My dream is to publish a novel someday, but I am building on my short story and poetry crafts now.
